WIND ENERGY

The CSIF Jsc project includes building three wind parks in North-Eastern Bulgaria, Kavarna Municipality, with total power of 200 MW, through the companies Sinic Ltd., Disib Ltd. and Windex Ltd. (20 MW already in place).

For the next 5-10 years power energy production from renewable sources will be one of the fastest-developing sectors in the world economy. Respectively, production of electricity from wind energy is the most dynamic sector in the renewable power energy extraction. This is a result of the purity of wind energy, the lack of limits of the source and the constantly decreasing value of a unit of investment per 1 MW of installed power.

HYDRO POWER PLANTS (HPP)

The Company assets include 5 HPP with total installed power of
15 MW.

The cascade Asenica unifies the territory and functionality of two technologically-related power stations – HPP Asenica I and II. The flowing waters of river Chaya (Chepelarska) are used in the production process.

  • HPP Asenica ² with total power of 7168 kW
  • HPP Asenica ²² with total power of 1730 kW
  • HPP Rakita with total power of 4740 kW
  • HPP Malusha with total power of 490 kW
  • HPP Stankova reka - in process of construction – 1000 kW

BIOMASS

A project in process of realisation aimed at production of biomass from 10 000 hectares plantations and two plants for their procession.

The project is based on planting of these fast-growing trees in order to extract biomass and on its processing into pellets for power-stations and households.
